Kathy has an Economics degree she keeps telling all of us about. She thinks that if we don’t agree with her demands for out of control unnecessary tax increases year over year, that means we don’t want to fund the Police! That Economics degree does not seem to be worth the paper it’s written on. She is woefully unprepared for the position she was appointed (not elected) to. She probably also agrees with The Democrats at the National level that say, the three and a half trillion spending plan they are pushing through Congress right now, “costs nothing” because it’s paid for with taxes. Those Democrats probably claim they have an economics degree too. I think AOC is one of them. Chatham is smarter than that, we understand paying for things by taxing us, does in fact cost us money. The public safety salaries have increased less than 2% per year. To blame a 20% increase in taxes on the police is terrible judgment and technically wrong. Blaming our police for Democrat mismanagement and to make it a political talking point says more about Mrs. Abbott.
