“For me, and many of the people that I know, the recent 20% increase in our municipal property tax rates is significant. I may have to work extra over the year to cover the cost or make do with a little less elsewhere. A 20% increase is a lot to me… If I had to increase the rate 20% on my neighbors, I certainly wouldn’t tell them that the impact on them was minimal before I walked a mile in their shoes…I’ll be voting for Mark Lois this year!”
